• 🍝 Osteria da Nino to Close After a Decade in Shirlington
  Osteria da Nino, an Italian spot in Shirlington Village, will be closing permanently on April 20 due to lease negotiations. They’ll still serve Easter brunch and dinner before their goodbye.

• 🥘 Eatopia Eyeing Second Location in Arlington
  Eatopia, a popular DC Ethiopian restaurant, is exploring new locations for expansion in Ballston or Crystal City. Known for its flavorful dishes and live jazz nights, a second space could be on its way soon.

• 🍜 Yu Noodles Opens New Location in Rosslyn
  Popular D.C.-based restaurant Yu Noodles is expopned a new location opening in Rosslyn on Wednesday. They specialize in spicy Chongqing-style noodles and Sichuan street food. The space was formerly home to Happy Eatery.

• ☕ Life Alive Café Coming to Ballston This Fall
  Beloved for its colorful bowls, smoothies, and cozy vibes, Life Alive Café is making its way to Ballston this September. The plant-based café will open at 818 N. Quincy Street, offering a feel-good space to grab a nourishing bite or sip a superfood latte.

• 🚨Wawa is scouting locations in Arlington

  This is not a drill. Be on your best behavior, we want the Wawa scouts to like us. According to The Washington Business Journal, Wawa is looking to potentially open 20 new stores across Fairfax, Arlington, Loudon and Alexandria. Areas without room for gas pumps like Rossyln and Pentagon City are unlikely.

• 🍕Andy’s Pizza opens tomorrow in Virginia Square

  Andy’s is the best fast casual pizza joint in DC. I would know, I had it twice last weekend. They have 11 locations in the DMV. This new one is on Fairfax Drive, three blocks past the metro.

• 🍨 New Gelato spot in Pentagon City

  Amorino Gelato Al Naturale opened this week in Fashion Centre. They specialize in Italian desserts!
