🍺Three Notch'd is coming to Clarendon! They plan to take over the first floor of the Clarendon Barnes & Noble. Barnes & Noble will consolidate their store to the top floor.
Three Notch’d plans to make the space a real brewery experience with a kitchen and an axe throwing area. I could not care less what activities they have, Three Notch’d is my favorite Virginia brewer. This is excellent news for Arlington.

Day Trip Pumpkin Patches
Cox Farms (Centreville) is the cadillac of pumpkin patches. If you want rides, animals, petting zoos and a scale recreation of Stonehenge you should go here. Make sure you get your tickets ahead of time. They tend to sell out
I’ve heard good things about Reston Farm Market and Burke Nursery too!
Nearby Pumpkin Patches
Zabriskie Chapel, Immanuel Church on the Hill (Alexandria) if you’re in a pinch and don’t want to make a day of it, this church with a really long name has a good pumpkin patch setup.
Merrifield Garden Center (Falls Church) Merrifield is my favorite local garden center, in fact my Great Uncle works there. They have a tremendous selection of pumpkins and all things fall.
GreenStreet Gardens (Fairlington) This is another little garden center that I love. I definitely recommend it.
I finally tried Weenie Beenie in Shirlington. Their NC-style pulled pork was pretty good!
