• 🍝 Scolapasta Delays Ballston Opening to July
  Scolapasta, a fast-casual Italian spot known for build-your-own pasta bowls, has postponed its Ballston debut to July. The restaurant will take over the former Pizza Roma space at 4219 Fairfax Drive, just steps from the Ballston Metro. It marks the second location for the brand, following its Tysons Galleria launch last fall.

• 🥟 1983 Chinese Cuisine Set to Open This May in Pentagon City
  A new Cantonese spot, 1983 Chinese Cuisine, is preparing to open at Westpost in National Landing this May. Located at 1101 S. Joyce Street, the restaurant will serve dim sum and other Cantonese dishes in a casual space with zodiac-inspired decor. With three private rooms and seating for up to 150 guests, it fills the former Bonefish Grill space.

• 🍷 Ukrainian Wine Bar “Spyrt” Coming to Clarendon
  A unique new wine bar is headed to Clarendon: Spyrt, specializing in Ukrainian wines and Eastern European bites. Co-owned by locals with Ukrainian roots, the bar aims to introduce the region’s rich winemaking culture to Arlington when it opens later this year.

• 🎉 SER Celebrates 10 Years in Ballston, Plans New Restaurant
  Spanish restaurant SER is marking its 10th anniversary in Ballston this month with special menu items and events. Owners are also planning a new concept, still under wraps, set to open nearby. It’s a big year for the beloved local spot known for its tapas, wine, and welcoming vibe.
